Suverkrup - Myrtle Wray

Myrtle Suverkrup, 95, who lived here most of her life, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at Memphis, Tenn where she had lived since 1964. Mrs. Suverkrup, who resided on West Market and South Walnut streets here was a member of the First Baptist Church and a 50-year member of the First Baptist Church and a 50-year member of Athens Chapter, OES. She was born Jan 5, 1879 south of here, a daughter of Jerome B. and Ruth Burk Wray. She first married Howard G. Lee. After his death she married Dr. B.F. Suverkrup who died in 1963. Surviving are a son, Howard G. Lee of Memphis, a sister, Mrs. Ben H. (Mary E.) Miller of Crawfordsville and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Carter officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery.
